The Statutory Activity of Election Department are classified as follows :-

1. Photo Electoral Roll

· Enrolment of Citizen as Voter in his / her own Constituency.

· Provide Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) to the Enlisted Voters.

· Conduction of Revision Works

· Publication of Draft & Final Photo Electoral Roll

2. Electoral Roll for Council Constituencies

· Preparation of Electoral Roll for Graduate Council Constituency

· Preparation of Electoral Roll for Teachers Council Constituency

· Preparation of Electoral Roll for Local Authorities Council Constituency

3. Election Conduction

· Parliament General & Bye Election

· Assembly General & Bye Election

· Council Constituencies General & Bye Electio

Note :- Municipality & Panchayat Election is conducted by State Election Commission

whereby this Department involved in some nodal statutory matters e.g. Electoral Roll, Digital Camera,Polling Station Publication etc.
